• Zainah Zaman, Kempner High School

  • Zainah is a senior at Kempner High School, where she is a part of the Orchestra program as a violist and spends time competing in Math UIL and Science Olympiad. She is committed to UT Austin as a biochemistry major and is completing her mentorship in general surgery where she is researching physician considerations in surgery methodology. Her favorite memory from the GT Mentorship cohort is getting to view an emergency surgery while the power grid was down!
