• Syna Dhawan, Elkins High School

  • Syna Dhawan is a senior at Elkins High School and serves as the President of HOSA, Science National Honor Society coordinator, and a member of PALS. Through the GT Mentorship program, she has conducted research on glial cells in Dr. Horner’s lab at the Houston Methodist Research Institute, an experience that helped guide her future aspirations. She plans to major in business and is deciding between UT Austin and UC Berkeley. One of her favorite memories with the cohort was jumping over a fence when everyone got locked outside, turning it into an unforgettable moment.
