• Emily Hoang, Kempner High School

  • Emily Hoang is a senior from Kempner, planning to study biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin on a pre-med track. At Kempner, Emily is a multi-sport athlete, participating in volleyball and swim while serving as her school’s water polo captain. Through her mentorship, Emily gained first-hand experiences of being in a real-world operating room, such as sitting in on an open-heart surgery. These experiences have taught Emily the importance of each action as a doctor and how to serve her patients in the most efficient manner.
