  • Homecoming 2022 Information

    Game:  Friday, October 14th at 7:00pm at Mercer Stadium (against George Bush HS)

    Dance: The dance will be at Elkins HS from 7pm to 10pm.  Last entry will be at 8:30pm. Tickets will go on sale soon via RevTrak.  Below is important ticket information.

    All ticket purchases are final sale (even if a student withdraws or is ineligible due to discipline or attendance).  There will be no refunds for ticket purchases. Please do not purchase tickets for a guest that attends a school other than Elkins HS (students who are not enrolled at Elkins are not allowed to attend the Homecoming Dance). There will be no transferring of tickets allowed.

    Students will not be allowed to purchase tickets at the door. If a student has not purchased a ticket ahead of time on Revtrak, they will not be allowed entry into the dance.  Tickets will sell out, so please purchase yours early.  To claim your ticket and entry to the dance, you must bring your school ID and/or pull up your student profile on Skyward at the ticket check-in table. If you cannot show proof of ID, you will not be allowed entry into the dance.

    Students with the following discipline or attendance are ineligible to purchase a ticket:  DAEP placement for this school year, any ISS or OSS for this school year, discipline referral for skipping, and/or 2 or more referrals for tardies. 

    Students who come to the dance out of dress code will not be allowed entry and will not receive a refund.  Students must be in dress code in accordance with the FBISD dress code expectations to gain entry into the dance.

    The last entry to the dance will be at 8:30pm.  Students will not be allowed to enter the dance after 8:30pm. If you leave the dance, you will not be allowed to re-enter.

  • School Picture Available to View & Purchase

     

    Your School Pictures are now available to view and order through CADY!

    If you bought a picture package before or on picture day, your package will be mailed directly to your home. You can expect to receive that in the next 7 days.

    If you did not purchase a package on or prior to underclass picture day, you can log in at http://cady.com/orderphotos to view and order your 2022-2023 school pictures today!

  • The Student Leadership Department is proud to announce the inaugural Profile of a Graduate (POG) Leadership Tour Series opportunity.  We will be traveling to the heart of the Civil Rights Movement and following in the footsteps of some of America’s greatest civil rights activists as we retrace their heroic journey through iconic sites throughout Birmingham, Selma, Montgomery and Atlanta. Student leaders will become immersed in hands-on activities that teach lessons that continue to resonate today. Through this once in a lifetime experience, participants will identify within those leaders the many attributes that make up the profile of a Fort Bend ISD graduate.

     

    Our goal is to have 50 participants. This opportunity is open to current FBISD Junior and Senior students.
    Scholarship opportunities will be made available for qualifying student participants.

    Civil Rights Tour Video

  • Power Wednesdays

    The start of Power Wednesdays is around the corner! Power Wednesdays will begin on August 31st. We have made a slight adjustment to the time. Every teacher will be available for tutorials in their classroom from 2:50 - 3:20. Students will be afforded interventions, enrichment, and AVID peer-to-peer tutorials to support their learning needs. 

     

    There will be no rehearsals, meetings, or practices during Power Wednesdays. However, these activities may begin after tutorials are done.

  • Elkins Morning Traffic Information

    • Highway 6 & Brookstone traffic: Please drop off students using the circle drive in the front of Elkins HS.  Please pull all the way forward and encourage students to exit quickly to keep traffic flowing. Students enter through front entrance. Exit towards Highway 6.

    • Thompson Ferry traffic: Enter Staff Parking Lot​. Drop off in labeled 2 lanes. Students enter Staff Entrance @100 Hallway​​

    • Student Drivers – We are encouraging you to avoid Thompson Ferry and utilize Oilfield to Hwy 6 to get to Knights Court (driving past River Pointe Church and turning right in to the student parking lot).  Please have your parking permit displayed.

  • Purchase Your Elkins HS Clear Bag for District Athletic Events Now!

    FBISD has implemented a clear bag regulation for all off-campus District sports facilities. This bag will meet the criteria (12" x 6" x 12") size.

    Elkins High School is selling clear bags with our school logo and colors to accommodate this new district regulation.

    Cost is $20 per bag.
