Hello there, my name is Christopher Nguyen. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I am a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. My passion for teaching sparked when I was in high school. Seeing just how my teachers with a vision for their students can impact and change the students’ future encouraged me to be where I am today. I hope to enrich my students with as much knowledge and keep lessons as fun as possible. I look forward to a great school year with all my students and parents! This year will be my 7th year teaching at Elkins, and I continue to enjoy being a part of this community. I love how diverse the student body is, and I enjoy the student's eagerness to achieve. My goal as their teacher is to push them to the next level and prepare them for college.

I have been the PALs sponsor for 4 years. Along with that, I dedicate my time to sponsoring the Save Promise Club and Science National Honor Society. 

Hobbies that I enjoy doing during my free time: fishing, traveling, cooking, working out, and being in nature (hiking).
