Hello Knights!

Welcome to my page! I am Mrs. Rad (Radhakrishnan) and I am excited to help you achieve your learning goals this year. I have taught Science for 10 years and this is my 4th year at Elkins High School and Fort Bend ISD. I am teaching 5 sections of AP biology and 1 section OnRAMPS Biology (UT Austin Biology course) this year. I did my Master’s degree in Biology from Texas State University-San Marcos (Go Bobcats!!) and my Bachelor's degree from Kerala Agricultural University - India.

I am happily married and have two kids- a 12-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter. My kids go to Fort Bend ISD too!! During my free time, I love to read, try new recipes, grow vegetables in my backyard and spend time with my family. I am passionate about teaching and research. My goal as a teacher is to facilitate your learning by making it fun and exciting each day. I hope this classroom culture nurtures your love for science and helps you become life-long learners by taking ownership of your own learning.
