ChildBuilders ~ Anti-Victimization ProgramCWE parents are invited to partner with the school to help their child learn the self-protection and resilience-building skills presented in Stand Strong, Stay Safe.
In compliance with Texas State Law stating that elementary and secondary schools provide child abuse anti-victimization programs (Texas Education Code § 38.004), FBISD is offering lessons using the ChildBuilders program.
Texas Education Code § 38.0041 also states that schools address sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and other maltreatment of children by increasing staff, student, and parent awareness of issues, including prevention techniques.
All lessons are age appropriate and parent consent is required for participation.
