My name is Mindy Draney. I am excited for this coming school year at Commonwealth Elementary! I began teaching in the fall of 2019. I love fourth grade, and specialize in Language Arts and Social Studies.  Before I was a school teacher, I was a dance teacher for nearly twenty years. I enjoy the creative process, and love being a part of a child's journey of discovery. Education is a wonderful combination of both of those things. I moved to Texas in 2011 and enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband and three daughters. We enjoy exploring the outdoors, and when I have a free moment, I like to read a good book.  I look forward to getting to know each of my students in the coming year at CWE. Go Cougars!
