A devoted partner of the Fort Bend Education Foundation for several years, Pfluger has proven time and time again that they are fully invested in the Education Foundation and the students and teachers of FBISD! To prove that point, Pfluger served as title sponsor of our 2025 Back to School Scramble! Their generous efforts helped us raise $150,676 – the highest amount in the golf tournament’s history! Madden Elementary kindergarten students are learning proper letter formation! Teacher Ruth Schmalz used her grant to purchase sets of Trace & Write magnetic boards for students to use in the classroom literacy stations. Students place an activity card, showing an upper- or lower-case letter, on one side of the board and trace the letter with their finger. They then use the stylus to write the letter on the board’s writing surface. They erase the letter and practice repeatedly before advancing to the next activity card. The students enjoy working independently while improving their literacy skills!
