      • Welcome

Welcome old and new friends and families!  We believe that a big part of our success is the close relationship we have with our Hawk families. We will send this school newsletter, through email, several times a month. Please read over the newsletter when you receive it so that you will have all the needed information on school events. The newsletter can be translated into many different languages by clicking on the translate tab on the right-hand side of the newsletter. In addition, we utilize a student folder that goes home with students which contains forms or flyers that you will need to review. For some information, we will utilize the call out system which calls the primary number you have on file with the school. Our communication relies heavily on current phone numbers and email addresses. Please contact the school if your contact information changes during the year so that you will not miss important communication.
        Field Day
Field Day is coming soon! On May 19th, Holley Elementary will participate in its annual field day to finish the 22-23 school year with fun-filled games and activities. Translation For Parents

Fort Bend ISD has students and families that speak many different languages.  In an effort to ensure that all of our families are able to be informed of the amazing things that are happening on our campus and throughout the district, we have multiple ways for you to be able to translate the information into your native language.

        • Our Holley Hawk Newsletter is written in Smore which has a translation feature embedded in the newsletter.
        • The district website can be translated into many languages.
        • All communication is available in English and Spanish.
        • Front office staff and bilingual teachers are available to help with translations and telephone calls.
        • Translators are offered for ARD’s if needed

If we have not met your need for translation, please reach out to the campus so that we can accommodate your needs.

        VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECK

Please note that all parents must have a background check conducted and approved before attending field trips, volunteering at the school, etc. We encourage every parent to have their background check completed at the beginning of the year so that they are ready to attend event or volunteer as they arise. The link to the FBISD website is provided below. Each parent must fill out a separate background check.

        Watch D.O.G.S.

We are in the process of starting the Watch D.O.G.S. Program here at Holley Elementary. The program helps provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrated by their presence that education is important. It also provides an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and instruction.
