My name is Mr. Alfonso Corona. I am a Bilingual Certified Third Grade Teacher. I am on my 20th year as a teacher in FBISD, 11 years teaching Kindergarten and now nine years in third grade. I was born and raised in México. I proudly am in this profession because it is one of my passions in life. Being a Teacher gives me the opportunity to shape hearts, minds and souls of human beings...impact my students in a positive way. They are my example of perseverance and constancy. When I see the faces of my students every time they achieve a goal and learn new things and how happy and filled with satisfaction they are, that's when I get my reward and motivation to keep moving forward. Each school year I look forward to better prepare myself in order to continue being an example, a positive example they will follow the rest of their lives. I also learn from my students, they inspire me, they make me enjoy and value life each day, they bring out the best in me and many times the child inside me. Teaching is my passion and I will continue in this great profession for many, many years to come.
