Hola! Bienvenidos a Primer Grado

Mi nombre es Vicky Montañez.  Soy Colombiana, radicada en Houston hace 35 años. Soy felizmente casada con dos hijos maravillosos.

He estado con el distrito por mas de20 años. Tengo una tίtulo de negocios de la Universidad de Houston Downtown.

Mis pasatiempos favoritos son  pasar tiempo con mi familia, leer, nadar y viajar.

Mi certificaciόn de maestra bilingΰe es de Pre-Kinder a Sexto grado.

Estoy emocionada de empezar este año escolar con excelente expectativas para los estudiantes de primer grado.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Vicky Montañez. I have been with FBISD for more than 20 years.  I am a first grade teacher. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach their dreams through their education. I believe every child should be treated according to his or her needs. Education empowers children, which produces amazing results when they enter the "real world!"

My husband and I have a beautiful family of two, a boy and a girl.  I enjoy traveling with my family. During my free-time, I like to read, decorate my house, swim and doing crafts for my classroom.

I have a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Houston-Downtown and a bilingual certification- EC-6.

I look forward to getting to know all of you.
