Greetings Holley Hawks and Families,

I am Tonya Cole, School Counselor for Mary Austin Holley Elementary. This is my seventh year working in the Fort Bend ISD.. I am very passionate and devoted to serving students and parents.  I started off in education as an elementary school teacher that grew to a greater reward in helping others through counseling.. 

This year is going to be another exciting year at Holley Elementary! We have several programs that will encourage our students to be inspiring leaders, such as The Direct Leadership, Sandy Hook Promise, Child Builders, Celebration of Red Ribbon Week, and Career Exploration events. We also have a wonderful Comprehensive Counseling & Guidance program that will provide rewarding character education lessons. At Holley, we are reaching out to all stakeholders to share in our proactive goals set for success.

I truly believe that all students should be empowered to “Dream and Believe” and together we can help each of them be successful! You can if you think you can! So, be a game changer and think, “Win, Win”! It is my mission to captivate the hearts of all students and to build self-confidence in our exemplifying Hawks. I am looking forward to meeting you soon. • Guidance Curriculum- in an effort to help students develop competence in essential life skills
• Responsive Services- Provide intervention for immediate personal/ social/ emotional concerns
• Individual Planning- Provide guidance to help students plan, monitor, and manage their personal, educational and career goals, and   facilitate transition activities for post- secondary education and/ or training
• System Support- Support campus staff, parents and community to promote the educational, career, personal and social development of students, as well as the Developmental Guidance Guidance Program
