Hello, my name is Mrs. Nufio (pronounced "New-fee-oh"), and I am delighted to be your pre-k teacher this year! We are going to have an exciting year of learning!

I grew up in Texas, but my family is originally from El Salvador in Central America. I graduated from Houston Christian University in 2013 with a degree in psychology, and then decided to go into teaching as I have always loved working with kids. I have taught both kindergarten and first grade and now pre-k. I love to read, write and draw in my free time. My husband and I have a beautiful young daughter who will be 1 this year.

Working with children has always been a calling of mine. I try to foster a positive and creative learning space for my students and encourage them to never stop trying to learn new things. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
