Dr. Anthony L. Lau
I am a graduate of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in Houston and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science (cum laude) degree in Genetics from Texas A&M University at College Station. I then went on to attend Baylor College of Medicine, where I received my Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Developmental Biology. After my doctorate, I was accepted at the University of California in San Francisco for a post-doctoral fellowship. Upon completion of my fellowship, I went to work on diagnostic test development for Chiron Corporation, which was eventually purchased by Novartis AG.
Currently, I am a member of the Elkins High School Science Department, teaching AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, and both AP Physics C courses. I have been teaching at the Castle for over 10 years.
I am also the EHS Chess Club sponsor. The club meets every week on Fridays after school in room 225 from 2:45 to 4:00 pm.
