East Ft Bend Human Needs Ministry Food Drive

TX-932 will host a food drive for the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry from 26 Sep-6 Oct. The Ministry is requesting the following items: Cereals, Oatmeal, Canned Meats, Past & Rice, Jelly & Jams, Peanut Butter, Beans (dried or canned), Granola Bars, Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruits & Juices, Soups

Holiday Items: Canned pumpkin pie filling, canned yams, condensed/canned milk, cranberry sauce, cake frosting, gravy, boxed mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing mix, canned vegetables

Please bring items to the AFJROTC Room 553 and place in your flight's box. Cadets will receive 1 hour of community service credit for each four items donated.

AFJROTC Flight Academy 2023-2024

Applications for the HQ AFJROTC Private Pilot Scholarship Program (AFJROTC Flight Academy) are open 18 Sep - 1 Dec 2023. Applicants must be current sophomore, junior, or senior AFJROTC cadets (active or reserve status) who understand they are volunteering for a scholarship to a partner university or college. There is no military service commitment or obligation, nor does program completion justify acceptance of military service, ROTC scholarship, or military academy appointment. Applicants must be at least 17 years old by 1 July 2024, have a minimum fitness assessment score of 75, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) to apply. Students must maintain GPA requirements to ensure admission to partner universities. Lastly, applicants must have a “strong” interest in aviation and a “never-quit” attitude.
