Your Professional Communications Teacher.

My education journey began in 2016, and has now brought me to Elkins High School in Fort Bend ISD. Over the years I have worked in many different industries including oil and gas, food service, retail and banking. After attaining my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing, I decided to change course and head for Suzhou, Jiangsu, China where I got my first taste of teaching in the classroom. That amazing experience pushed me to pursue a career in education once I arrived stateside a year later. After substitute teaching for more than a full calendar year, I was hired as a full-time teacher by Fort Bend ISD to be an Knight!

Shortly after being hired, I became the sponsor for Key Club International, a volunteer organization that focuses on helping both the school and the community. I was also given the opportunity to utilize my coaching experience as the Junior Varsity Girls Basketball coach. I am now pursuing my Master's in Communication Studies for an opportunity to teach at the college level.

Family, faith, sports, music and video games are the basic pillars of my life. I've been married since 2013 and my son was born in the summer of 2021. Kea and Karter are the joys of my life.
