This is my 30th year as a teacher and this is my 24th year at Elkins High School.  I teach United States History, am the head cross-country coach and I am the head girls track & field coach. I am a native of Houston, Texas and I graduated from Westchester High School. I continued my education at Stephen F. Austin State University where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Houston with a Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision. 
Before Teaching at Elkins High School, I taught for four years at North Shore Senior High where I taught Teen leadership, in a credit recovery program for special education students and coached track. I began my teaching career at Welch Middle School where I taught Texas History, United States History and coached Football. After graduating from SFASU, I spent four years in retail management.
I am married to Kristin Still who is the Principal at Rick Schnieder Middle School. We have one son Benjamin James who is a Junior at the University of Houston. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports and spending time with my dogs Dolly, Gracie and Baloo.
