    Students will utilize their innovative and strategic skills as they manage the creative and business aspects of creating a permanent memory for their fellow students, faculty, and the community. Staff members will create the 2015-2016 edition of The Excalibur from scratch and will know every aspect of its creation by the end of the year. Skills learned in this class can lead to a career in publishing, marketing, or various other aspects of the journalism field. Prerequisites - Photo Journalism, class application, teacher recommendations 
     
    Photo Journalism
    Students will learn the laws and ethical considerations that affect photo journalism; learn the role and function of photo journalism; critique and analyze the significance of visual representations; and learn to create photo journalism products. Students will learn how to take photographs effectively and the various techniques involved with the business of photography.
