I am very excited to be at Elkins High School as the Math Department Leader, Professional Learning Lead and Student Leadership Liaison!
After relocating to Texas from Illinois in 1999, I started my teaching career at Clements High School. I have also worked in the Fort Bend ISD Curriculum Department as a Math Helping Teacher, at the University of Houston as a Clinical Associate Professor in the teachHOUSTON program, and in Fort Bend ISD as the Coordinator of the Math and Science Academy at Dulles High School and the Engineering Academy at Elkins High School. I returned to the classroom in August of 2015 and taught Geomety at Kempner High School before returning to Elkins as the Math Department Leader in November of 2015.
My son is a senior and my daughter is a sophomore at Travis High School.
This is my 23rd year in education and I am thrilled to be working with the amazing students here at Elkins!
As always - it's a great day to be a KNIGHT!
