I have over 12 years of research experience in biomedicine and biotechnolgy. My research focused on some of the major health related problems such as allergy, cataract and alcoholism. I have received multiple awards to present my research in national and international scientific meetings as well as “Young Scientist” award. My research experience includes publication of 20 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. Before teaching at FBISD, I had taught at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University for over 5 years as an Associate Professor.
I enjoy teaching and very excited to be a part of FBISD. I have been interacting with different level of students, high-school, undergraduate and graduate, throughout my career. I would like to have my class as the one where there is active learning and interactions among students and between students and myself. My overall goal is to serve as a resource for educational materials and preparing students for higher-education as well health care industry.
