Ms. Erica N. Edwards

I am a nineteen year educator who has taught technology education on both high school and middle school levels. Previously, I facilitated over an Electronics Engineering Academy at Thurgood Marshall High School. I then became a Robotics and Engineering I/Principles of Construction/Investigating Careers instructor at Hodges Bend Middle School. Currently, I teach Principles of Engineering (Engineering Science) and Engineering Design and Development at Lawrence E. Elkins High School as well as at Ridgepoint High School. I am a sponsor for the Robotics Club, Technology Student Association, Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers, and the Muslim Student Association. Additionally, I was an adjunct instructor at ITT Technical Institute teaching DC/AC Electronics, Digital Fundamentals, and Problem Solving courses. I am a mentor for young people and a minister of music at my church affiliation. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering which I received from Prairie View A&M University and I have a Masters degree in Business Administration with a specialization of Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. I truly enjoy assisting our students in exploring their gifts and potentials as well as expose them to exciting fields of interest within engineering, technology, and associated applied science careers.
