I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX where I graduated from W.B. Ray High School. I then attended Texas A&M University in College Station, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.

I have taught Mathematics for 36 years in 4 different school districts. I first taught in Bryan ISD before moving to Tatum ISD, Grand Prarie ISD, and now Fort Bend ISD at EHS.

I have completed 19 years of teaching Math at Elkins HS. I am also the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Elkins.I am married to a FBISD teacher and we have 2 children, who are both graduates of Elkins High School.
