I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX, where I graduated from W.B. Ray High School. I then attended Texas A&M University in College Station and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.

I have taught Mathematics for 37 years in 4 different school districts. I taught for Bryan ISD, Tatum ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, and Fort Bend ISD at EHS.

I have completed 20 years of teaching Math at Elkins HS. I am also the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Elkins.I am married to an FBISD teacher, and we have 2 children, who are graduates of Elkins High School.
