Mr. Montes comes to us from Brownsville ISD and is entering his 17th year in education and his third year as a proud member of the Cougar Family. He brings a wealth of experience as an educator, having taught Art for 12 years and Physical Education for 4 years. In addition to his classroom expertise, Mr. Montes has coached Girls Basketball for 12 years, including 4 years as a Head Coach.

Beyond the classroom and court, Mr. Montes is also the founder of Embrace Doubt Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering student-athletes through scholarships, mentorship, and community support.
