My name is Maya Thomas, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I graduated from Austin High School, then pursued my higher education at The University of Houston- GO COOGS!!! While in my undergrad at University of Houston I played softball for four years, I truly enjoy the game of softball and competing. This will be my 6th year teaching here at Bowie Middle School. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and coaching. I enjoy watching comedies, movies, football, volleyball, and softball. I genuinely love what I do. I am a very passionate, dedicated, and encouraging coach.
