Greetings,

     My name is Mr. Michael Holmes and I would like to welcome you all to the start of the 2024 – 2025 school year.  I am proud to be the Case Manager and SAILS teacher for these wonderful students.     

     This will be my third year at Elkins, but my ninth year in education.  I myself am a product of Fort Bend ISD and relish the opportunity to give back to the community that molded me.  I graduated from Willowridge High School and received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston.  I have four children of my own and family and community are very important to me and to the development of our kids.  I am a huge sports fan who enjoys teaching and coaching young people.  I feel that every moment with our children is an opportunity to teach them something that can have a lasting impression on the rest of their lives.

      So as we start this new school year, I welcome you to contact me about anything going on with your child, in our class, or in the school.  Here at Elkins we want to build a community of leaders and that starts with our classroom.  I look forward to getting to know you and your child this school year.
