I am an Alabama native who has lived in Texas for 32 years. I graduated from Foley High School (located near the coast of Alabama), Auburn University with a degree in Applied Mathematics, and Texas A&M University with a teaching certificate in secondary mathematics.
 
This is my 28th year at Elkins High School.  This year I am teaching four AP Statistics courses, one College Prep Math class and am co-teaching the Multidisciplinary Studies course with Ms. Bonnette.  I have been a reader for the AP Statistics exam since 2014 and I make every attempt to share my experiences and insight as a reader with my students in an effort to help them do well on the AP Statistics exam.  This year's AP Statistics exam is on Thursday, May 8 at 8:00 A.M.
 
I like to attend live sporting events whenever possible, usually Aggie and Houston pro sports related, trying to keep in shape by walking and running the occasional 5K race.
 
My conference time is from 7:30-8:20 (1st period) if you need to get in touch with me during school hours. I also make every attempt to respond to e-mail promptly, as this is my preferred method of communication.
