Born and raised in Victoria, TX, I graduated from Victoria Memorial High School before attending Blinn Jr College and the University of the Incarnate Word. There, I played collegiate basketball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

With 15 years of experience teaching biology, aquatics, and various other science courses, I am thrilled to be in my fourth year at Elkins High School. The supportive and dynamic atmosphere here makes each day a rewarding experience.

In addition to teaching, I serve as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Elkins. Coaching allows me to combine my passion for basketball with my commitment to mentoring and developing young athletes.

My husband, Jarvis, and I have been married for over 12 years and are proud parents to our three beautiful daughters: Jordin, Jessiah, and Journee.
