    FBISD Middle School COVID Guidelines

Students have the option of bringing their own lunch to school or purchasing their own lunch daily. Out of an abundance of caution while the District operates under pandemic operating procedures, no outside food (pre-packaged or homemade) for students may be brought into schools by delivery from parent/guardian or external vendors. This also includes no outside food for class birthday celebrations (i.e. cupcakes, cookies, etc.).  Cross-contamination and the possibility of a person touching another person’s portion is too great of a risk regarding the spread of Covid-19. If a student forgets their lunch at home, they may receive a meal from the cafeteria. These will be free of charge through December. Beginning in January, students will be allowed to charge the meal to their account. Visitors will not be allowed to eat meals with students on campus.

  • Purchase PE Uniforms for the 2021 School Year

You are now able to purchase PE Uniforms online via Revtrak with the link below.  All students enrolled in PE are required to wear an SMS PE uniform shirt and shorts (or joggers).

Purchases made by 8/5/21 will be delivered the first week of school.  Orders made after 8/5 may be delayed. Use the link below to make your purchase.

Keep in mind that students may continue to use their uniforms from a previous year.

*Newly registered students can purchase using Revtrak on August 12th once the first day official counts are completed or pay cash to their PE teacher.

***KickStart students do not need to purchase PE Uniforms as they will be given information at a later time on purchasing specific KickStart attire.

  • Any 7th or 8th grade girls interested in participating in SMS Track:

    • Make sure that your RankOne forms have been submitted. You can find these through the link below.
    • All 7th graders, or new SMS 8th grade student athletes, will need to provide an FBISD physical form completed by a physician to a coach before tryouts begin. You can scan a copy of this to Coach Martinez or Coach Keshavarzi now, but please bring the original to tryouts.  That form is in the link below. If you tried out for volleyball or basketball, your physical is already on file.
    • Track practice begins at 7am on February 8th. Arrive by 6:50 am each day to complete screening and temperature checks.
    • Let your PE teacher know if you are planning on trying out ASAP, so that we can add you to the list and start checking off names of cleared (all forms completed) athletes.
