The Sartartia Middle School Orchestra has enjoyed a celebrated history of excellence in the 20 years of its existence. Since the school opened in 2001, the Sartartia Orchestra program has earned Sweepstakes at UIL each year, been a TMEA Honor Orchestra (State Champion) two times (2012 & 2024) as well as a Runner-Up, and finalist, received multiple Foundation for Music Education Mark of Excellence awards, performed at The Midwest Clinic in Chicago, ASTA, and many more accolades. The program was started by Ann Victor when the school opened in 2001 and is currently directed by Heather Davis and Guillermo Teniente.
