Michelle Rudisill
Hello and welcome! I am looking forward to an AMAZING 21-22 school year and I am thrilled to have every one back in school! I hope that you all are looking forward to a fantastic year as well.
My name is Michelle Rudisill; I graduated from The University of Houston - Downtown in 1999. I have been in education since 2000; over 14 years as a teacher and four years as a principal's secretary. I am so proud to be a member of the Sartartia Family.
My philosophy for teaching is that an amazing teacher should create a fun and safe learning environment for each student. A great teacher should possess the attributes to enrich each student's life with new ideas and educational endeavors. At the heart of every teacher should be the love of teaching and the will to learn from their students. I believe that not only knowledge in your subject matter is important, but how to engage your student's in the subject matter you are teaching, and the enjoyment of teaching your subject should be the focus of a great teacher. My student's are the most important aspect of my classroom, they drive the atmosphere and environment. I want my student's to be curious, to ask questions, and to wonder. I want my student's to use reason and logic when dealing with situations and problems that they are uncertain about. The most important thing is that I am always here for my students and my parents.
Throughout the year I hope to communicate with both students and parents about my class. I will be adding updates to Schoology as classes progress. Please check Schoology often for assignments, projects, and rubrics. My email is donna.rudisill@fortbendisd.com
