Hello Jags!!

My name is Aisha Morgan-Hughes and this will be my 18th year in education. My teaching career started as an autism preschool teacher for a private school. I later transitioned to public education as an elementary multiple-disability teacher. I eventually made my way to Dulles High School as an inclusion teacher and track/cross-country coach. After Dulles, I had the pleasure of opening Fulshear High School in Lamar CISD as an inclusion teacher and track/cross-country coach. I decided to leave the classroom to become a transition teacher at Austin High School and later became a Special Education Program Specialist in Fort Bend. Now I am excited to make my return to the classroom as the CLaSS teacher at Sartartia. 

I am originally from NJ and attended the University of Houston where I was a member of the track team. I have a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Outside of school, I enjoy going to the movies with my daughter and husband, spending time with family, traveling and shopping.
