Tell us about yourself... My Teaching Career •This is my 12th year at Sartartia Middle School and my tenth year in Fort Bend ISD. I have a total of 23 years experience as a Spanish teacher. I have taught the following courses to students in grades 7-12: Spanish 1B, Spanish I Adv, Spanish I (high school), and Spanish II. My Educational Background I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a Spanish teaching option. My Personal History: I grew up in a small Pennsylvania town. My family home was on several wooded acres, which gave us space for a menagerie of interesting pets, including: turkeys, pigs, a raccoon, an owl, a porcupine, a groundhog, and a flying squirrel. I enjoy scuba-diving, karate, traveling to foreign countries (Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, France, Spain, Italy), and spending time with my family. My Family :I have a 16-year-old son, who attends 11th grade in Fort Bend ISD. I also have a year 8 old girl named Abbie. My wife is an art teacher. We recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Our family pets are a 4 year old black lab terrier, and a cat.
