Tell us about yourself... My Teaching Career •This is my 16th year at Sartartia Middle School and my 19th year in Fort Bend ISD. I have a total of 27 years experience as a Spanish teacher. I have taught the following courses to students in grades 7-12: Spanish 1a Spanish 1B, Spanish I Adv, Spanish I (high school), and Spanish II. My Educational Background I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a Spanish teaching option. My Personal History: I grew up in a small Pennsylvania town. My family home was on several wooded acres, which gave us space for a menagerie of interesting pets, including: turkeys, pigs, a raccoon, an owl, a porcupine, a groundhog, and a flying squirrel. I enjoy scuba-diving, karate, traveling to foreign countries (Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, France, Spain, Italy), and spending time with my family. My Family :I have a 20-year-old son, who is currently attending Trinity University in San Antonio. I also have a year 12 old daughter named Abbie who attends Sartartia. My wife is an art teacher in Katy ISD. We recently celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary. Our family pets are two dogs, a 8 year old black lab terrier  and  a 4year old Podenco Canario. We also have a cat.
