This is my sixth year teaching at Sartartia Middle School and it is my fourteenth year teaching in FBISD.  This year I am teaching the sixth, seventh and eighth grade math lab classes, and 7th grade PreAP math.  I am also the Technology Integration Champion and Math Department Head for the school.

Prior to teaching I worked as an IT analyst in the oil and gas industry in Houston.  I have a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and a Masters of Education from University of Houston in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction.  I am originally from El Paso and have lived in the Houston area since 2001. I am married, have a 6-year old daughter and a golden retriever.
