Fort Bend ISD

Zahara Trent is a graduating senior at William B. Travis High School. Along with Travis, she is also enrolled in the Audio Video Production program at the James Reese Career and Technical Center. She enjoys watching and making movies, and her short film, Obscurité, won first place at the 2023 SkillsUSA District Competition. Zahara is an active member and former officer of the International Business and Marketing Academy at Travis, and is also part of BSU and NEHS. Her favorite memory at mentorship was getting to attend SXSW. She has learned networking, design, and marketing skills whilst meeting countless genuine and passionate filmmakers in the Houston area. Zahara plans to attend Howard University for her film degree.
