• Matthew Builes, Elkins High School

  • Matthew Builes is a senior at Elkins High School who will be studying computer science at the University of Texas at Austin next year. He is a member of Elkins’s Engineering Academy and played football for all four years of high school. From his mentorship under Dr. Mamouras at Rice University, he learned a new programming language and how to compress and process data streams.
