Katherine Yue, Dulles High School
-
Katherine Yue is a graduating senior from Dulles High School. As part of her extracurricular involvement, Katherine participated in the Dulles debate team, competing in public forum debate, and served as the Vice-President of the Math & Science Academy student government. Through the mentorship program, Katherine was fortunate enough to be able to work with Judge Juli Matthew at Fort Bend County Court at Law 3. Her time there provided invaluable insight into the influence creating a community and engaging in outreach has on political reception and support, which Judge Mathew embodies, through assisting and observing in trial dockets, organizing digital graphics for community events such as the Chai & Chat series, and assisting older churchgoers with transferring documents via technology. In the Fall, Katherine will be attending either the University of Texas at Austin or Rice University to study political science and psychology.
