Fort Bend ISD

Avani Desai is a graduating senior from John Foster Dulles High School. As part of her extracurricular involvement, Avani participated as a Varsity LD Debater in Debate and as Vice President in Badminton Club. Through the mentorship program, Avani was fortunate enough to be able to work with Mr. Sam Puglisi in the Supply Chain Department at Houston Methodist. Her time there provided invaluable perspective on turning data into information to make decisions as she worked with vast amounts of data about the real working of the hospital. In the Fall, Avani will be attending the University of Texas at Austin to study Electrical and Computer Engineering.
