Fort Bend ISD

Darya Erdogan is a graduating senior from Ridge Point High School. As part of her extracurricular involvement, Darya founded and co-led a women's rights club called She's The First and participated in a district-wide leadership program called Student Leadership. Through the mentorship program, Darya was fortunate enough to be able to work with Allie Salz, the Interim Director of Budget and Strategy at the City of Sugar Land Budget and Strategy office. Her time there provided invaluable insight into the importance of citizen education, ensuring that the city prioritizes spreading information, and informing residents of the inner workings of the city. In the Fall, Darya plans to start at UT Austin in the Canfield Business Honors Program.
