Fort Bend ISD

Zijin Chen is a graduating senior from Dulles High School. For the past four years, she has been a violinist for the Dulles Orchestra and has volunteered as part of Dulles Elementary's Coding and Robotics Club. In her free time, she enjoys jamming out to her favorite bands, playing VALORANT, and drawing. Through her mentorship with Erik Schenck, the IT Manager for the City of Sugar Land, Zijin gained valuable insight on how geography and technology merge to help store, process, and manage large datasets through maps. Her favorite memory from GT Mentorship was when the cohort came together at ROPES. In the fall, she plans to attend either the University of Texas at Austin or Case Western Reserve University to study computer science and performing arts.
