Instructional Para Assessment

  • All Instructional Paraprofessional positions in Fort Bend ISD require the completion of 48 college credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university, or a passing score of at least 70% on FBISD’s Instructional Para Assessment. The Instructional Para Assessment is administered virtually at no cost to candidates and with no travel required.

  • About FBISD’s Instructional Para Assessment

Fort Bend ISD’s Instructional Para Assessment evaluates a candidate’s knowledge of math, science, social studies and English Language Arts (ELA), and also includes a writing prompt to assess a candidate’s grammar, punctuation and communication skills.

Exams are offered on a weekly basis, and candidates will have up to two opportunities to re-take the exam if they do not achieve a passing score on their first attempt.
