The Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment
Instructional ParaProfessional positions at Fort Bend ISD require either an Associates’ degree or the completion of 48 college credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university. If an individual does not possess any of those requirements, taking and passing the ParaPro Assessment is a viable alternative, however, it does not guarantee you a position. The ParaPro Assessment quantifies candidates’ reading, writing, and math knowledge. This online assessment is conducted through the Educational Testing Service (ETS) website and is proctored by a Fort Bend ISD administrator.
Appointment Required. Please see our availability and register via the SignUpGenius link for a session that best suits your schedule.
You may obtain additional information about the test, by visiting the ETS ParaPro website: https://www.ets.org/parapro/about/
