Pool Positions - Applications and Transfers

Fort Bend ISD offers many pool-related leadership and instructional opportunities within the district, based on a candidate’s interest, expertise, and qualifications in specific areas. These include positions in Fine Arts and Counseling, as well as librarians and instructional coaches.
Applications to a Pool Position, or transfers to another campus
All candidates who are interested in a pool position must apply for the appropriate posted requisition (job position) in our application tracking system - TALEO. This includes teachers and professionals who are currently employed in a pool position and wish to transfer to another campus in the same position.
Important Note: Teachers and professionals currently in a pool position should NOT put their name on the transfer list. The system will not allow you to complete this task.
All campus leaders will have access to the appropriate list of pool candidates and will contact those on the list for an interview.

I am currently employed in a pool position but would like to move to another campus. What do I do to initiate a transfer?
All candidates who are interested in a pool position must apply for the appropriate posted requisition (job position) in our application tracking system - TALEO. This includes teachers and professionals who are currently employed in a pool position and wish to transfer to another campus in the same position.
To be eligible to move to a different campus, those in a current pool position must:
- Have a minimum of two (2) consecutive years of service, in the same position, at their current campus as of June 1, 2022. *
- Have demonstrated success on T-TESS, or professional evaluation, with no indicators of “Improvement Needed” for the current school year.
- Not be on a H-1B Visa
