1. Locate the Pre-K program school.
The following are the Pre-K campuses for the 2024-25 school year:

2. Check the Pre-K list of schools, and use the School Finder site to locate your home-zoned campus.
A student may attend a Pre-Kindergarten program campus zoned to the home address. Attendance is subject to qualifications and space availability. Students will be assigned to an overflow campus when classroom seats become unavailable on a home-zoned campus.

3. Review the Pre-K eligibility criteria.
To enroll in Fort Bend’s Pre-Kindergarten Program for the 2024-25 school year, your child must meet the following criteria to qualify for the FBISD Pre-K Program:
- Must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2024, for the 2024-25 school year
- Must be a Fort Bend ISD resident
TUITION-FREE PRE-K:
To qualify for tuition-free Pre-K, families must also meet ONE of the following requirements:
- The student is identified as a Language Learner by the state-required language assessment. Students qualifying by language will be tested to determine placement in the program, or
- Families must qualify according to the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines (example: family of 5 annual income = $60,070). Use this calculator to figure out if your household qualifies by income. Proof of income is required before your child’s seat can be secured. Parents must bring current proof of gross income/documentation for all adults in the household (at least one month of income/30 days from the day of registration), including current paycheck stubs, child support statement of payment, SNAP qualification letter, etc.
- The student’s family is homeless.
- The student is in foster care and have current or previous conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services, or
- The student is the dependent child of an active U.S. Armed Forces member or a service member who has been injured or killed while on active duty.
- The student is a dependent of a police officer, firefighter, or emergency medical responder who was seriously injured or killed in the line of duty and received the Star of Texas Award.
The documentation verification and language assessment process will begin on April 1.TUITION-BASED PRE-K:
Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria for tuition-free Pre-K have an opportunity to register in the FBISD Tuition-Based Pre-K Program.

4. Complete the FBISD online registration: Families New to FBISD or Existing FBISD Family.
Friday, March 1, 2024, at Midnight: Pre-K Pre-Registration for qualifying students (tuition-free) opens online through Family Access.
June 2024: Pre-K registration for non-qualifying students (tuition-based) opens online through Family Access.
1. Complete the FBISD online registration: Families New to FBISD or Existing FBISD Family.2. Contact the zoned Pre-K ADA clerk for assistance and to make an appointment to finish the enrollment process.

3. Scan and email original documents to the ADA:
- Birth certificate
- Social Security Card
- Parent/guardian identification
- Proof of residency documents such as a deed, lease, or mortgage agreement
- Utility bill (gas, water, or electricity)
- Updated immunization record
4. Submit Documentation - Follow the recommended e-mail guidelines below to increase safety and confidentiality:
Tuition-Based Program Only (EZChildTrack Pre-K Tuition Payment Portal):
Parents of tuition-based students must enroll in the EZChildTrack to pay fees. This system will open on June 3, 2024, for the 2024-25 FBISD Tuition-Based Pre-K Program.
