Tuition-Based Pre-K For Community Members
-
The 2024-25 Tuition-Based Pre-K Program for FBISD community members (non-qualifying students) begins on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 9:00 am. Follow the steps provided in the checklist to access this opportunity and select the correct program. Enrolling the FBISD employee program without providing an FBISD e-mail or not working for the district will slow your child's application review process.

About Tuition-Based Pre-K
-
Tuition-based Pre-K is a TEA-approved program that allows school districts to extend services to children who do not meet state's required eligibility for pre-kindergarten. The qualifiers for Pre-K are income (according to the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines), English language needs, homelessness, current or previous conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (foster care), military status, and eligibility to receive the Star of Texas Award for Emergency Responders under the Texas Government Code §3106. 2, 3, or 4. If you believe that your child qualifies under any of the criteria, follow the registration process included on pages 16-17 of the Early Childhood Programs Family Handbook.
Although you may think your family may not qualify, we ask you to please review the 2024-25 Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines before completing the registration application. Keep in mind that you will have to submit documentation supporting household income. Students meeting income guidelines will participate in the FBISD PreK program for free.
The tuition-based program will be available across the district at Pre-K campuses with a limited number of seats offered on a first-come, first-served basis at Austin Parkway, Barrington Place, Colony Bend, Colony Meadows, Cornerstone, Dulles, Highlands, Hunters Glen ELC, Meadows, Sugar Mill elementary schools, and the Reese Early Education Lab. FBISD will not open any additional classrooms for tuition-based purposes. Students will be assigned by teachers based on available seats on the campus requested.
The 2024-25 full-day pre-kindergarten costs $6,450.00 for the school year and $645.00 per month. This is below the average cost of childcare offerings in the area! For information about before and after-school care, please visit the Extended Learning Department's website, Little Learners program.

3. Register at EZChildTrack
Open an account, EZChildTrack, using your Fort Bend ISD email address (FBISD employees) or your personal e-mail for community members. Select the pre-kindergarten Tuition-Based Program. EZChildTrack platform will process the initial application and collect monthly fees ($50 non-refundable fee to enroll.) The selection of a different program will delay processing time. Due to the high volume of applications, this process may take up to 5 school days.
4. Accept Billing and Participation Policy
By enrolling their children in the Tuition-Based program, parents will adhere to the following policies:
- The Pre-K Tuition-Based program fee is $645.00 per month.
- Payments must be made with a major credit card or checking account.
- Credit card payments through EZChildTrack receive a three-day grace period before late fees apply.
- Select the automatic payment option after entering the payment method to avoid late fees.
- Tuition is due on the 1st day of each month.
- There is a late fee of $10 per day for payments not received by the 1st of the month.
- Failure to pay tuition fees by the 10th day of the month will result in the student being withdrawn from the Pre-K Tuition-Based program.
Please enroll your child in the Pre-Kindergarten Program 2024-2025 FBISD Residents - NON-Employees instead of the program for FBISD employees. Selecting the incorrect program or school year will slow the review process of your child's application.
5. Register for Before and After School Programs - Optional
Tuition-based Pre-K and Little Learners Program (Extended Learning) fees will be collected through the EZChildTrack platform.
