• PK Qualification for Teachers

    With the passing of House Bill 2 in June 2025,  FBISD Teachers of Record  are now eligible for tuition-free Pre-K 4 for their children! 

    If you are a full-time certified teacher assigned to provide instruction in an FBISD PreK–12 classroom for at least half a day, and your child turns four years old on or before September 1, 2025, your child qualifies for tuition-free Prekindergarten for the 2025-26 school year!  Review the steps below to ensure your child is approved for enrollment. 

    Steps to Apply for Tuition-Free PreK 4:

    1. Complete the Interest Form - Use only your FBISD employee email address to submit the form. 
    2. Age Requirement - Your child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025. 
    3. Register in Skyward - Your child must be registered in the system to review eligibility. 
    4. Submit All Required Documents - Ensure all registration documents are received (child's birth certificate and immunization record, parent/guardian identification, current utility bill, and proof of residency [lease, deed, or property tax statement]). 
    5. Approval Notification - Once approved, you and your campus ADA will receive an approval email confirming your child’s enrollment.
