• FBISD will offer intradistrict (FBISD residents) and interdistrict (non-FBISD residents) transfers to select campuses for the 2026-2027 school year. This provides students access to innovative programs beyond their zoned campus and allows families to explore specialized academic offerings aligned to their child's interests, strengths, and future goals.

    • Pre-K4 intradistrict (FBISD residents) schools: A limited number of seats are available for transfer applications for FBISD residents in all Pre-K 4 program schools. To request a transfer, ask the ADA for the 2026-27 transfer form. Fill out the form and submitted to the school's ADA for approval. Review of all transfer applications begins on June 1st, 2026. 
    • Pre-K4 interdistrict transfer (non-FBISD residents) schools: The following are the only campuses accepting out-of-district transfers during the 2026-27 school year: Armstrong, Barbara Jordan, Barrington Place, Brazos Bend, Colony Meadows, Cornerstone, Henry, Lakeview, Meadows, Oakland, and Scanlan Oaks Elementary.
