Join us in celebrating our youngest learners on the Week of April 6-12!
Week of the Young Child acknowledges and celebrates the educators and families of the youngest learners in our schools! Week of the Young Child is a fun-filled week celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities.
This annual event is sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the world's largest early childhood education association, with nearly 60,000 members and a network of 52 Affiliates. We invite you to join the celebration.
Let’s also celebrate the growth, development, and magic of learning that's taking place in our regular and special Early Childhood Education programs, the Early Intervention Academy, and the Brazoria-Fort Bend Regional Day School Programs for the Deaf, as well as our teachers and teaching aides who embraced our youngest students every day!
Download the documents below to access resources with hands-on, collaborative activities encouraging movement and healthy lifestyles for school and at-home celebrations through music, food, art, and literacy. You may also utilize them as planning tools to incorporate purposeful, planful, and playful experiences at home!
