Fort Bend ISD

Anant Asthana is a graduating senior from Dulles High School. As a part of his extracurricular involvement, Anant enjoys reading about the history of technology in Academic Decathlon. He also loves volunteering as a STEM teacher and beatboxing. Through the Mentorship program, Anant was lucky to work with Dr. Kiss, a pioneer in the field of RNA therapeutics. His time there let him witness plasmid engineering and basic science research into RNA modifications, feeding his curiosity about how cells do the incredible things they do. His favorite memory was trying to ride a skateboard at Academy during Goosechase. In the fall, Anant will study chemical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
