  • Student Biography

    Josleen St. Luce is currently a senior at George Bush High School. During her high school career, Josleen has served as a Co-President of Bronco Wellness Coalition, Captain of Academic Decathlon, and Vice President of the National Honor Society. She is also a part of the Spanish, Math, and Science Honor Societies and dances in her free time. Additionally, Josleen earned the Silver Award of the Level IV National Spanish Exam and is an AP Scholar with Distinction. As a part of GT Mentorship Josleen, was mentored under Dr. Jontel Pierce at MIND Neurology Clinic. During this experience, Josleen notes that she has seen the multitude of sides that running an independent clinic entails from setting up EEGs to listening to company representatives of medical devices. In the fall, Josleen plans to matriculate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology studying Brain & Cognitive Sciences.

    Dr. Jontel Pierce is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in the treatment of various neurological disorders. She listens closely to her patients and aims to create personalized treatment plans catering to every individual’s specific needs. Dr. Pierce has years of experience treating a variety of neurological disorders. She has special interest and expertise in the treatment of headache disorders and concussion.
